Drawing on All Resources: developing open educational practice in art, design and media
Faculty of Arts, University of Brighton
Wednesday 16 May 2012

The Subject Centre traditionally organises an Annual Forum in May. In recent years we have held these at RIBA in London, The Custard Factory in Birmingham and The Lowry in Salford. This year we are planning an event at the Faculty of Arts here at the University of Brighton.

Drawing on All Resources looks to build on the important work we, and our partners, have undertaken on online teaching and learning materials specifically open educational resources (OERs) and practices.  The day aims to present work that has been taking place and discuss some of the challenges and opportunities that are emerging from the development of open educational practice.

The programme is currently being drafted, and we can confirm keynote speaker, Paul Gerhardt, Archives for Creativity,  Tim Seal, SCORE, Open University and a range of presenters from across the sector.

We will be posting more information on the event in coming weeks
